Recently I’ve been looking into purchasing an essential oil diffuser.

Since there are so many on the market to choose from, I decided to make my own!

This DIY diffuser uses only two or three ingredients that you can purchase for under $23:

Pink Himalayan Sea Salt, and one or two of your favorite essential oils.

While you can keep the salt and oils in a small bowl to let off the scent around your chosen room, I chose to keep it in my brand new Faucet Face Eco-Friendly Glass Water bottle.

Not only does it look stylish, it also makes the diffuser last longer!

Who said that water bottles only had to be used for water?

This DIY diffuser is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

How-to…

All you have to do is fill the glass water bottle with the Pink Himalayan Sea Salt, and add a few drops of your favorite essential oil(s).

I chose rosemary and sage for stress relief.

What’s nice about keeping the diffuser in a water bottle is that the scent lasts longer since it can be sealed, and rather than omitting the scent into the air, the diffuser can be used as an inhaler jar.

And you’re probably also wondering what’s so nice about keeping a diffuser in a glass Faucet Face water bottle?

Faucet Face water bottles are reusable, eco-friendly, and not only offer superior taste when used to drink out of, but you can also use the bottle for a variety of different things besides monitoring your water intake!

While I do understand that this diffuser could be made using almost any water bottle, what screams “stylish” more than this super cute water bottle diffuser that not only makes you feel good but also looks great with its unique design?

(FYI, my favorite part about Faucet Face water bottles is their durability. The glass walls of the bottle are twice as thick as a beer bottle or glass Snapple bottle, making them super sturdy!)

The Up-Keep…

About once or twice a week, I’ll add a few more drops into the water bottle and shake the bottle up for a few seconds to kick-start the diffusing process again.

If you want the scent to spread throughout the room, put a few extra drops in, shake it up, and leave it open on a table.

Or, just inhale the scent from the bottle deeply a few times before bed, or when you’re feeling stressed.

Not only do these water bottle’s make a great gift for friends and family, they also make a great gift as oil diffusers.

This is a perfect, simple, cheap and easy gift for the holidays– under $30!

Your friend can either keep it in the water bottle or pour it into a bowl and use the water bottle for what it’s meant to be used for.
