2016, you’ve been good to me.
I did well in school.
I fell in love.
I visited new museums, restaurants, and parks, and attended new festivals and concerts.
I didn’t gain the freshman 15, or anything close to it while away at school my first year.
I learned important life lessons.
I read good books.
I traveled to Cape May, NJ and Philadelphia, PA.
I worked from home all summer, and was able to see my boyfriend every weekend.
I passed statistics with a B, and am forever done with math.
I celebrated my one year anniversary.
And much, much, more.
Thank you for being so good to me 2016.
It may be cliche, but it seems way too appropriate not to make a post about things I want to accomplish in 2017. Recently, I’ve been creating goals for myself and whenever a new one pops into my mind, I got it down– on a piece of paper, a napkin, my cellphone. So, I decide to compile them together and narrow them down to the top 7:
- Write a book
- Don’t waste money
- Sit up/ stand up straight
- Do well in school
- Eat healthier
- Focus on my blog more
I’m not much of a new year’s fan, and although I don’t have plans to change anything in my life drastically, I know this is going to be an excellent year!
